Noor Momin, Ph.D.

Noor (she/her) is an incoming Assistant Professor in the Bioengineering Department at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Center for Precision Engineering for Health. Noor seeks to extend immuno-engineering to the challenge of cardiovascular disease prevention, management and treatment. As a graduate student, Noor engineered a localization strategy that improves the safety and effectiveness of cytokine immunotherapies used for cancer treatment. Her patented technology is being used to treat pet dogs with oral melanoma and soft tissue sarcoma and has been licensed to Cullinan Oncology for human drug development. Noor is passionate about powering effective therapies that advance patient care and combat globally burdensome diseases. Outside the lab, Noor enjoys cooking cuisines from around the world.
